Coupons & Discounts
Offer discounts to drive sales, reward loyal customers, and run promotions with flexible coupon codes.
Creating a coupon
Go to Coupons in your dashboard sidebar and click New Coupon. Fill in the following:
- Coupon code— The code customers will enter at checkout (e.g., “SUMMER25”, “LAUNCH20”). Codes are case-insensitive.
- Discount type — Choose between percentage or fixed amount.
- Discount value — The discount amount (e.g., 20 for 20% off, or 5 for $5 off).
- Click Create Coupon to save.
Discount types
Percentage discount
Takes a percentage off the order total. For example, a 20% coupon on a $50.00 product gives the customer a $10.00 discount. The maximum is 100% (free).
Fixed amount discount
Subtracts a specific dollar amount from the order total. For example, a $5.00 coupon on a $50.00 product brings the price down to $45.00. The discount cannot exceed the order total.
Usage limits and expiration
Control how and when your coupon can be used with these optional settings:
- •Maximum uses — Set a total number of times this coupon can be redeemed across all customers. Leave blank for unlimited uses.
- •Expiration date — Set a date and time after which the coupon automatically becomes invalid. Expired coupons show a clear “Expired” badge in your coupons list.
- •Minimum order amount — Require a minimum purchase amount before the coupon can be applied. This prevents customers from using a $10-off coupon on a $2 product.
Product-specific coupons
By default, coupons apply to any product in your store. You can restrict a coupon to specific products by selecting them during coupon creation:
- When creating or editing a coupon, find the Apply to section.
- Select Specific products instead of “All products.”
- Choose which products this coupon should work with.
If a customer tries to use a product-specific coupon on a different product, checkout will show an error explaining the coupon is not valid for that item.
Bulk discount codes
Need to generate many unique codes at once? Use the bulk code generator:
- Click Bulk Generate on the Coupons page.
- Set the discount type, value, and any limits (same options as individual coupons).
- Choose how many codes to generate and an optional prefix (e.g., “PROMO-” creates codes like PROMO-A3X9K2).
- Click Generate. All codes are created instantly and can be exported as a CSV file.
Bulk codes are ideal for giveaways, influencer partnerships, and promotional campaigns where you need a unique code per recipient.
Managing existing coupons
From the Coupons page you can:
- •Edit a coupon to change its value, limits, or product restrictions.
- •Disable a coupon temporarily without deleting it.
- •Delete a coupon permanently. Existing orders that used the coupon are not affected.
- •Copy code to your clipboard for quick sharing.
